Heavenly Father, so many of Your children are afflicted with mental illness. We ask You to be with them each day as a loving Father, holding them close to Your heart and blessing them with Your tender love.
Lord, Jesus, touch those afflicted with mental illness with Your healing love. Give them the courage and strength to face their illness through the power of Your Holy Spirit. Bestow upon them the grace to bear their cross in a way that brings honor and glory to Our Father. If it is Your Divine Will, heal them of their affliction.
St. Benedict Joseph Labre, patron saint of the mentally ill, intercede before the throne of God on behalf of all those who suffer in mind and heart. Present them lovingly to God and ask Him to bless each one with peace.
