Do Everything in Love

“Do everything in love.” (1 Corinthians 16:14 NIV)

Everything we do should be a reflection of God’s love.  God out of love formed us, blesses us, and propels us to love Him, ourselves, and others.  We are to love not just those who love us, but all people, even those who hate us or wish to do us harm.  God’s love is not restricted and ours shouldn’t be either. God’s love flows endlessly from His heart.  

Everything Jesus did, everything He is doing He does with love.  No matter what we do it should be done with love as well.  The simple things, the ordinary things, our daily work and chores should be done with love.  If we do everything with love the ordinary becomes extraordinary.  With love every act becomes a blessing.  Let us love everyone as if God is loving through us Himself in others.  Let’s allow God’s love to flow freely out from us to others. Let us love as fully as we are able with God’s help and grace.
