Your Treasure?

"For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also." (Matthew 6:20)

What do you treasure?  Whom do you treasure?  Do you treasure them more than the Lord and doing His will in your life?

We are called to be grateful for everything we are given, to be grateful for every person we love and are loved by, and to put our love for God and our desire to do His will before all else.  If we keep God first our hearts, minds, and souls will be blessed by God and filled with His grace.  His Spirit will bless us with the wisdom, knowledge and conviction we need to keep God first and foremost in our lives. We will have peace in believing that God is leading us towards Himself in love.

Prayer:

Lord, I wish to treasure You above all else.  Help me to keep my heart, mind, and soul focused on doing Your will in my life and on loving You more than any thing or anyone.  Thank You for all You have given me, especially Your love, mercy, and forgiveness.  Amen.
