God's Light

"The Lord turns my darkness into light." (2 Samuel 22:29)

In the darkness that clouds the heart, mind and soul through sin God's light shines.  In His love He illuminates our darkness and enlightens us.  He shows us clearly our error and draws us through His Spirit into His mercy and forgiveness.  In Reconciling with God our hearts, minds, and souls are cleansed and filled with the light of God's love.  His brightness illuminates us and we should stand in awe of His love and faithfulness and be grateful that we have been redeemed.

Prayer:

Lord, let Your light shine through the darkness of my sin.  Show me where I have gone astray and allow me to be Reconciled with You. Illuminate my heart, mind and soul and help me to remain in the light of Your love.  Amen.
