Keep Calm

"Be careful, keep calm, and don't be afraid." (Isaiah 7:4)

No matter what is happening in our lives God calls us to be careful to always obey His commandments, do our best to love, forgive, accept, be compassionate and understanding towards others and do to others what we would have them do to us.  Additionally, we are called to be kind and merciful towards ourselves in our thoughts, words, and actions.

God is with us always and we can trust in Him and keep calm knowing that in everything He is working all together for good and for His greater honor and glory.  We have nothing to fear because God is there for us, blessing us with His strength and courage.  We know that we can hope in Him and hold fast to His promises to be with us, love us, forgive us, and in His mercy welcome us into eternal peace and joy if we obey Him and love Him with all our hearts, all our minds, all our souls, and all our strength.

Prayer:

Lord, help me to be careful to obey You.  I know that if I am doing Your will I will be at peace and be calm.  Help me to walk courageously through my day.  Help me to trust You and in so doing be without fear.  Thank You, Lord.  Amen.
