Commit Your Spirit

"Father, into your hands I commit my spirit." (Luke 23:46)

As Jesus committed His Spirit to the Father, we too can commit our souls to Him.  As we walk through our day may we offer all we have planned, all we must do, every circumstance, every difficulty to the Father and allow Him to bless us with the wisdom and grace we need to lovingly do His will.  God the Father wants us to entrust every second of every day to His care and trust in His provision.  He will bless us with the strength, courage, wisdom, love, patience, fortitude, and understanding we need for every situation we face each day.  He never leaves us and always carries us in His loving arms.  We are precious to Him and when we commit ourselves to Him, He fully commits Himself to blessing us with all we need and then some.  How blessed we are by our God.

Prayer:

Heavenly Father, I offer You all that I am, all that I have planned, all I must do today.  Bless me with all that I need to be faithful to Your will for me.  I entrust everything to You and believe that You will bless me to overflowing with Your love and grace.
