God is With Us

"The Lord is with me; I will not be afraid." (Psalm 118:6)

The Lord is truly with us.  He is as close as the beating of our hearts, as our very breath.  He lives within us and He will fight our battles with us, inspire us when words seem to fail, strengthen us when we are weak, encourage us when there looks to be no hope, forgive us our sins when we seek to be reconciled with Him, and hold us in His loving arms and fill us with His love and mercy when we feel unloved or in need of love and compassion.  God is always with us and we have nothing to fear.  He will carry us and care for us, and provide everything we could ever need until we rest in Him for all eternity.

Prayer:

Lord, help me to realize You are always as close to me as my breath.  Help me to acknowledge Your presence with and within me.  You never leave me alone.  Thank You for Your love, Your care, and Your compassion.  I love You.
