Seek God First

“Set your mind and heart to seek the Lord your God.” (1 Chronicles 22:19)

We need to set our hearts and minds on God first and allow Him to take precedent above all people and all things.  When He is truly first in our lives we will know His will for our daily lives and we will walk in greater peace.  Let’s stop placing others or work, things or desires before God.  Let’s work hard to remove any impediments to His love being manifest in our lives.  When we truly place God first His power will be unlimited in our lives and His Spirit will be able to move mightily.  Let’s let God be first always.  

Prayer:

Dear Lord, let me place You first at all times.  Help me to love You above all and seek Your will in my life.  I want Your love to move more powerfully within me and for Your Spirit to be manifest in my life.  Thank You for reminding me to place You above all.  Amen.
