Take God's Hand
“For I am the Lord your God who takes hold of your right hand and says to you, Do not fear; I will help you.” (Isaiah 41:13 NIV)
I remember being a little girl walking along holding my dad’s hand. Holding his hand made me feel loved, safe, and secure. I had complete trust that he would protect me from all harm.
Our heavenly Father loves us so much more than our earthly fathers. He wants us to be like little children and trustingly take hold of His hand. And while we hold His hand, He can lead us fearlessly through this life. Joined by the hand to our heavenly Father, we can trust in His protection and care and rest safely and securely in Him Who is love.

Blessings
God is more anxious to bestow His blessings on us than we are to receive them.
St. Augustine of Hippo
Ask
“Ask for whatever you want me to give you.” (1 Kings 3:5 NIV)
Even in the Old Testament the Lord tells us to ask for what we want, what we need, what we desire. He is a loving God Who wants to give us the things we need and then some. Before we ask, He knows what we want and what He will give in response to our request. Sometimes we get exactly what we ask for. Other times we get what we need in a way that is different from how we thought we’d receive it. But in all circumstances God gives us what is best for us. We may not immediately see how His way is best, but in time all is revealed and we marvel at His providence.
I am constantly asking God for things spiritual and temporal. He cares about everything and He answers even the smallest requests. It never ceases to amaze me when I get requests answered right away. I will need something and He provides it. I am struggling in some way and ask for help and He gives it. He never leaves me wanting. God the Father always knows how to give me just exactly what I need when I need it. The Holy Spirit gives me every gift and grace necessary to do what I need to do in a day. And Jesus in His infinite love and mercy blesses me unceasingly. What a generous and loving God we have.
