Seek God First

“Seek ye first the kingdom of God.” (Matthew 6:33)

If we seek God’s kingdom first He will bless us abundantly.  If we place Him above all others we will find peace and happiness.  If we begin our days dedicating time to listen to God before we do anything else we will discover His will for our days.

Let us go to God and talk with Him.  Let’s share our dreams and desires with Him.  Let’s allow God into every aspect of our lives and give all our plans to Him. Let’s trust that He will bless us as we are now and all we wish to become.  If we place God first we will have unending hope and joy.

Prayer:

Dear Lord, I give you all that I am, all that I wish to be, all my plans and hopes.  Bless me with Your peace and joy.  Help me to always place You first in my life.  You are my Lord and my God.  I love you.  Thank You for all You do for me each day.  May I always praise You.  Amen.
